Your symptom data never leaves your device. Flarewise has no accounts and no general analytics. We do not sell, share, or transmit your health data. Ever.
On your device (local only):
All of this is stored in a SQLite database on your device using expo-sqlite. None of it is ever uploaded to any server.
Premium subscriptions are managed through Adapty, a subscription-management platform. Adapty receives your purchase receipt from Apple or Google and a randomly generated subscription-profile identifier so we can validate your subscription and keep Premium unlocked across app updates. Adapty never receives your symptom logs, name, or email address.
If you installed Flarewise by tapping a content creator's link, the app makes a one-time check — using Flinku — to credit that creator, so we can pay them a share of your subscription if you go Premium. This check sends a randomly generated device identifier (not tied to your name, email, or symptom data) and, if present, the referral link itself. It runs once on first launch and never again. If a match is found, the creator's identifier and your device platform (iOS/Android) are recorded — no health data is ever included.
If you opt in to the daily check-in reminder, a local notification is scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent to or logged by Flarewise servers.
The doctor-visit PDF is generated entirely on your device and shared via your device's native share sheet. Flarewise never receives a copy.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), not by Flarewise. Their privacy policies govern payment data. Flarewise never receives your card details.
Flarewise is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we ever make material changes, we will update the date above and note it in the App Store release notes. The core commitment — your health data stays on your device and is never sold — will not change.
